Our institute provides access to the Bloomberg Database, a widely used financial information platform offering a wide range of data, news, and analysis related to global financial markets and related fields.
It covers various areas including stocks, bonds, foreign exchange, commodities, indices, company information, market data, etc., offering a plethora of historical data and statistics for users to conduct long-term trend analysis and retrospective research.
The TESG database, named the "TESG Sustainable Dataset," draws information from various sources including sustainability reports released by companies, shareholder meeting annual reports, data from the Public Information Observation Station, official websites, and more. Following data cleaning and organization, it provides over 40 different ESG data points, encompassing factors such as carbon emissions, participation in initiatives like SBTi or TCFD, director and employee compensation, gender composition of directors, patents, and corporate governance evaluations. The TESG Sustainable Development Index is an ESG rating system tailored for Taiwanese companies, graded from A+ to C-, across seven levels, facilitating rapid assessment of corporate ESG performance.
Furthermore, the International Finance Institute is equipped with state-of-the-art computer hardware, crucial for our research and data analysis endeavors. These advanced devices boast formidable processing power, high-speed memory, and vast storage capacity, capable of handling extensive datasets and executing complex models and algorithms. This enables us to conduct data processing, simulation experiments, and research analysis more efficiently, yielding more precise and reliable results across various domains.
